Frequently asked questions.
Everything you might want to know before booking our two-bedroom condo at RED Mountain Resort in Rossland, BC. Still have a question? Reach out through Airbnb or VRBO.
How far is the condo from the lifts?
It's a four-minute, flat walk to the chairlifts at RED Mountain Resort. The condo is Unit 4 in Red Rob's, a building right at the base of the mountain.
Is the hot tub private?
Yes. The hot tub is on the deck and exclusive to the unit — no shared facility, no schedule, and no walk across a parking lot. It's available year-round.
How many people does it sleep?
The condo sleeps five across two bedrooms — Bedroom 1 has a queen bed and a desk, and Bedroom 2 has a queen bed plus a twin. It's ideal for one or two couples or a small family.
Is there parking, and is it covered in winter?
Yes. The condo includes one dedicated garage parking spot, so your car stays out of the snow all winter — no scraping or digging out in the morning. There's also a gear locker for skis, boots, and clubs.
What airport do I fly into?
Most guests fly into Spokane International Airport (GEG) in Washington, USA — about a 2 to 2.5-hour drive south and the closest airport with a wide range of flights. For flights within Canada, West Kootenay Regional Airport in Castlegar (YCG) is about a 45-minute drive, and Trail Regional Airport (YZZ) is closest at roughly 20 minutes, both with limited scheduled service. Check the RED Mountain Resort website for current airport shuttle options.
Is it pet-friendly?
No. The condo is not pet-friendly, and it is a non-smoking unit.
What's the kitchen equipped with?
A seriously well-stocked kitchen: an induction cooktop, Instant Pot, immersion blender, cast iron and stainless cookware, sharp knives, a dishwasher, a full-size fridge, and complete dinnerware for five.
What's nearby?
Donnie's Bistro and Big Red Cats are downstairs; The Josie / Velvet Restaurant and Rafters Pub are next door. The town of Rossland — with groceries at Ferraro Foods, coffee, and bakeries — is a five-minute drive, and Trail, BC is about fifteen minutes away.
